It’s my pleasure to welcome you all to the most exciting and rewarding phase of your life. College education marks a transition from the controlled environment of the school to an autonomous & free environment of college. This autonomy and freedom further demands self discipline and a sense of responsibility on your part.
It is a matter of pride for us that Government College Nerwa is responding well to new scenario of education bringing out the positive change and producing not only eminent academicians, outstanding sportspersons and cultural ambassadors but at the same time good human beings. This institution provides quality education by equipping students with skills, confidence and positive approach with an all round personality development. Beautiful widespread campus and academic environment nurtures creativity and leadership qualities amongst students for their overall development.
Govt. College Nerwa, all along its journey has strived towards excellence with the help and cooperation of the competent & well experienced faculty, non-teaching staff, parents, students, local administration and well wishers. To all of them, I convey my sincere thanks and profound appreciation with an ardent hope that they will ever continue to support and stand by the institution. Though this college is located in a far flung rural area of district Shimla of Himachal Pradesh, yet we indeed are fortunate to boast a faculty and staff who are not only immensely talented but also deeply committed for the success of our students. Working with such an inspiring, dedicated, and devoted team fills me with a sense of privilege.
