Government College Nerwa has established a Pre-Rural Incubation Centre under the RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) Project of the Government of India in collaboration with Planet Education Society, Paonta Sahib. The Centre has been established with the objective of fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem among students and rural youth by encouraging innovation, creativity, and self-employment.

The Pre-Rural Incubation Centre serves as a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into viable business ventures. It provides mentoring, skill development, capacity-building programmes, and institutional support to help participants understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business planning, and enterprise management. The Centre also facilitates awareness of government schemes and opportunities available for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

With a special focus on locally viable sectors and rural enterprise development, the Centre seeks to empower students to become job creators rather than job seekers. By nurturing entrepreneurial talent and promoting sustainable micro-enterprises, the initiative contributes to local economic development while aligning with the national vision of strengthening the MSME sector and fostering self-reliance.
